About the Dobyns-Bennett Football Foundation

The Dobyns-Bennett Football Foundation was originally established in 1982 as the Dobyns-Bennett Quarterback Club. The  purpose of the  Dobyns-Bennett Football Foundation is to support the Indian football team and promote positive community involvement. Today, through support of parents and community sponsors,  the Dobyns-Bennett Football Foundation provides multiple meals per week to all  players during the football season, a first-class end of year awards banquet, a limited number of college scholarships to senior players for qualified  applicants, and a pre-season picnic and end of season trip for senior players.

The Dobyns-Bennett Football Foundation encourages all  supporters of Dobyns-Bennett football to join us and become volunteers.  On Tuesdays  following each varsity game, the Foundation Board of Directors, Volunteers, and Indian Football fans meet at 6 pm in the upstairs conference room of the Alumni Field House to discuss Foundation business and to enjoy hearing from a guest speaker.  Make sure  to stay long enough to hear Coach Joey Christian hand out player of the  week awards, review the previous game, and preview the upcoming game.

Volunteers

Through the efforts of many volunteers, the Dobyns Bennett Football Foundation supports the Indians Football team by providing pre-game meals, scholarships, funds for supplies and equipment, etc.. Many volunteers are parents of current and previous DB football players while others simply love DB football and graciously volunteer their time. If you are a parent or fan please contact us if you would like to volunteer. It is a very rewarding experience.
